Not every large dent needs a body shop. Wide, shallow dents and many creases can still be repaired with PDR when the paint has survived the impact. These repairs take patience, the right access and careful planning.
What counts as large or complex
- Dents wider than a few inches
- Creases from sliding contact
- Damage spanning two panels
- Dents near panel edges or braces
How we approach it
We start by studying the dent under the light board to map high spots, low spots and stretched areas, then decide on access points and the order of work.
Large repairs are worked gradually from the outside in, keeping the surrounding metal relaxed so the panel returns to its original shape.
